This project is about the standards of society. The pieces have a more street art and graffiti style. The work symbolizes authenticity throughout time. The first piece in the gallery has a map as its bottom layer, which ignited inspiration for many of my later paintings. The map of Paris from 1985 was tucked away in my art class. It acted as a base for my painting while also connecting to a place I visited at a young age. The paintings in this series were all made from early to mid-2023.
